Three simple techniques improve your productivity

1)      Daily Plan – Sit down 5 mins everyday to write all things that needs to be done in a notepad. Make a priority on those tasks whether it is a personal or work related. You can put some background color on those tasks (if you use excel sheet) for high, medium, low priority tasks.  You can also list out the everyday mandatory tasks on a separate section in the same sheet (reading newspaper etc). You can also allot tentative timings to complete a task. If you write down those tasks, the mind will automatically adjust itself and work accordingly. If any task will take you less than 5 mins, do it immediately.  Otherwise, these simple tasks will squeeze lot of energy in the mental level. Moreover, there is no hassle in the mind, and you never forget any important tasks. Because, every single thing is written down in a sheet. So you are mentally free.

More important, you need to write it down at the beginning of the dayJ. I am telling you this process will take less than 5 mins.

2)      Creativity – You need to do same thing as above. You are recording your random thoughts or ideas in any day. Sometimes, you will get an idea whether you are having lunch or taking bath or driving a car etc. Just record it in one sentence in a notepad or IPhone or Blackberry or a paper before you are forgetting it. Don’t think it is a silly idea. Because no one can see those ideas except you. So no problem right. Keep all those ideas in one central place. This could be your personal dairy.  Make a plan to review all those ideas occasionally like every 3 days or a week. Once you review it, your mind will think unconsciously day and night. It produces lot of other ideas. This process will take less than 1 min.

3)      Cleansing your unnecessary thoughts –  Sit silently for 15 mins in a comfortable posture  and can take support from a wall, observe your thoughts and important thing is that do not concentrate on any thought (Of course Do not sleep !).  We can call it ‘Conscious Sleep’. Don’t do less than 15 mins and greater than 15mins.  After 15 mins, you will feel absolute stillness in your mind. Just carry that stillness throughout the day. If you are worried or tensioned or some other disturbance at your work place or home, just visualize this silence or stillness and immediately you will see change in you. You may not experience in a day or month. But after couple of months, you will definitely experience. Because we don’t know how much junk we carry in our mind 🙂 (many years of junk).It is like this, we are cleaning externally by doing bath and internally by sweating, urinating etc. How about cleaning mentally. If you don’t clean it, it is like unedited movie. Can you watch unedited movie? That’s why there is lot of confusion in our thoughts, no clarity, fear in taking task, encouraging negative thoughts unconsciously etc. So this is a very simple and powerful process. You are allocating for YOURSELF just 15 mins out of 24 hours in a day for ‘DOING NOTHING’. Do this process in either the early morning or evening, at the same time and place. This will give the long-term benefit that you never imagine. You will experience lot of improvement in physically, mentally and more important your satisfaction level tremendously improves in any task. You need to understand there is SCIENCE behind this process. The science is your mind will stop thinking after 10 mins if you don’t concentrate any thoughts. So you will experience ‘NO MIND’ state after 10 mins.  NO MIND state will produce immense benefits in you. You can do simple research on google. We always think consciously and unconsciously throughout the day (24/7/367 days) and dumping all junk into mind. If you reverse the process, there will be tremendous adjustment in the mental level. We can call it Reverse Engineering.  Building stuff is very difficult and cleaning/removing/ destroying is always is easy and very fast. That you already know :-).   (Warning: Do not do more than 15 mins this exercise and before going to sleep.  Otherwise, your metabolism level will reduce drastically and that is not good for your health).

Implement all these 3 simple DOABLE processes as a ritual. I hope this will take less than 20 mins in your precious time.

Change will happen with simple steps. In a process of change, seeding is most important. Create an environment to sprout the seed and nurture it for a while. Unfortunately, fruits will come at the end.

Everything in life is a rhythm

Everything in life  is a rhythm.

–          There is a rhythm in walking.

–          There is a rhythm in running.

–          There is a rhythm in breathing.

–          There is a rhythm in sleeping.

–          There is a rhythm in sound.

–          There is a rhythm in silence.

–          There is a rhythm in singing.

–         There is  a rhythm in dancing.

–         There is a rhythm in a heart beat.

–          Everything in universe has its own rhythm.

–          Why not Stock?

–          Stock follows has its own rhythm, in fact all stocks follow common rhythm.

The key is you need to find your own RHYTHM.

 

 

Be unattached with media

Here is the story about the two monks. The two monks are very simple and follow strict principles by the order from Guru. One day they happened to cross the small canal on the way to visit the temple .They found one beautiful woman, who also wants to cross the canal, but she doesn’t want to wet herself. So she asked help from these monks.  One-person ready to carry her on the other side of the canal and other person doesn’t want to carry due to the fear of breaking the principles of monkhood. Anyway, First person helped her to cross the canal. The second guy was always reminding to the first one on the way to temple that you made a big sin by carrying her. And he explains, this is against the monkhood principles. All the time he was thinking about this one for two days continuously. The first person told to second one that why you are carrying this thought for two days and I forgot it at that moment when I helped her.

What we can learn from this story?

Be unattached …The first person, never has taken into heart, that he has done guilty. In fact, second person has taken to heart, found himself guilty.

While doing trading or investing, there will be lot of influence from the media. Media change your mental patterns, which directly reflect in your trading.

Lot of news around the globe, opinions, suggestions, tips, and this will create fear and disturbances in you …One day you feel you are optimistic about the market and other day you feel pessimistic..

So Learn how to detach with this media content and focus on your mental setups, patterns, methods, fundamentals, supply and demand.. etc

Do not change opinions by reading newspaper and watching news on the TV. News comes last to the public, by that time Stock has enough progress in his/ her life cycle.

This is true in life situations also. If you apply the unattachment concept in your life situations, then you are free from worries. You can only act and make a decision for a particular situation and rest will happen whatever it supposed to happen.

Forget noise from the media ..

what we need to see ?

 

The current market is driven by lot of news …QE3, Printing Money, US and Europian Debts, Lowering dollar, Earnings and China. Which news that we need to consider to buy stocks…There is lot of confusion right..

Only one solution that will provide answers for all these factors..Supply and Demand..

Look at Bidu, Aapl , Goog and Oil Stocks.. People are putting more money into these stocks and these stocks are very cheap right now and have lot of demand. These stocks  are leaders and Leaders only drive the market ..This will provide the answer for all these noise in the market.

 

Correction is good

Correction is always good.

Let me take an example. Day and Night cycle is a gift from the nature.  Day is life and Night is death. When the Day starts, you feel much energized. Energy levels are very high in the morning and goes down when the day ends. Body needs rest during the night and it repairs itself to get energized for the next day. If you don’t sleep in the night, that will be reflecting in the following day. So night is as much as important as day.

Correction is very much important in the case of Stock Market or stock life cycle. It will take rest for few months and jump from there.  Stocks will jump fast at the initial stage after it takes sufficient rest and will move slowly once it has reached certain point.

If you want to work in the night, you know what will happen. Your energy levels are very low during the night, productivity reduces and this will reflect in the following day. If you play or buy stocks during the correction, your productivity reduces, and you will end up with big losses. Because stocks behave very volatile, it reflects your emotions during correction.   If market takes rest and you take rest. That will save you lot of money.  Whatever you earn during the bull trend, will wash away in the correction stage. This is where most of people do mistake and ends up investing or trading career.

Productivity can happen only when your energy levels is high.  You can make money only when the market is in trend, and not every day.

See the below chart has couple of rest periods in his/her life.

Kirby Corp ( KEX)

  • Kirby Corp took the long and decent rest for 4 months and breaking from there.
  • Lot of buying volume came into this stock and acted very orderly for last few months.
  • EPS/ Sales ( -12/3, -3/10, 18/12) are increasing progressively for last 3 quarters.
  • Market is ready to move up and this stock too..

Market 07/08/2011

  •  Market might oscillate in the range of 2900 – 2820 for couple of days before taking a moving up.
  • Market is maintaining the good range bound and wait to see whether it will breakout this range in this earnings season.
  • Leaders are acting good at this time and need to see more confirmation for few days.
